Chevron (CVX)
Chevron works in some of the most vital oil and gas region in the world. In 2010 alone they had a net-equivilant production averaging 2.763 million barrels a day. In 2010, 26% of their production was done in the U.S., 13% in Kazakhstan, and about 10% in each of the other various countries. Chevron’s oil exploration projects are focused on the Caspian and Asian Pacific regions of the world. In addtion, they are working within Latin America and Africa in order to create appropriate gas supply for the growth occurring in those areas. Lastly, CVX is also working to maximize mature resources as much as possible, but also incorporate new opportunities as well.
